Bringing outdoor learning leaders together
The professional network of AHOEC members is it strength and all members are encouraged to take advantage of the various opportunities through the year.
We hold both a half yearly and an annual conference with excellent opportunities to showcase developments within the sector and to raise standards. These are often held in conjunction with other outdoor learning organisations such as the Institute for Outdoor Learning to further our reach and develop the outdoor leaders of tomorrow.
Each region has a programme of local meetings to bring together providers – often with colleges from other organisations to develop links and discuss local business.
On a daily basis all members have access to the AHOEC mailing list and electronic shared knowledge base allowing for lively debate, instant answers to troubling questions and the ability to reach out to peers for support.
