Residential field study centre delivering outdoor learning experiences to KS2 school groups, within a secure 14 acre, coastal location. Hands-on activities designed to support and enhance classroom learning within three broad areas: environment, culture and adventure.
Courses are organised to maximise personal and social development, with an emphasis on our three keywords: ‘teamwork, respect & responsibility’.
Accommodation for up to 112 children; 11 staff bedrooms (singles), part or full en-suite. Recently built dormitories and refurbished facilities including dining room, classrooms, games room, wildlife hides & play areas. ‘Welfare Assistants’ on site to help ensure first aid, wellbeing and domestic needs are met. Experienced teaching staff (many of whom are former primary school teachers) plan individual activity programmes with schools prior to visit. Diverse learning environments such as urban, seashore, woodland and wetland habitats.
