The Learning and Discovery Team offers a range of activities to support learning, working with many different organisations and institutions, from schools and youth groups to family and community groups.
We deliver from various locations and centres around the Park – from the gritstone edges above Hathersage to the limestone dales around Hartington. Our programmes aim to inspire you to love the Peak District National Park as much as we do. All our work will promote understanding of the national park by providing creative and inspirational experiences that will help you discover the special qualities of the place.
We deliver from 3 day centres, at Longdendale just outside Glossop, Macclesfield Forest and the Moorland Discovery Centre on the Longshaw Estate. All centres have inside classroom facilities, secure wildlife area, parking and toilets. We also deliver at several sites around the National Park.
