Nant BH Centre is part of the North Wales Outdoor Education Service (NWOES) delivering to Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Wrexham and Anglesey. The Centre provides high quality outdoor education courses, through residential and day experiences, to primary and secondary school groups since 1968.
Based in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park we are able to provide an exciting range of adventure activities in unspoilt wild country. We are surrounded by impressive scenery and have easy access to lakes, rivers, mountains, coast and mines for memorable and inspiring adventures.
Courses are tailored to meet the needs of our clients, and can be residential or day based. The Centre provides a comfortable residential base for up to 40 pupils plus staff. We work with visiting staff to agree the programme of activities for each course, taking into account the aims of the course, the group needs, and the weather on the day.
Our range of activities includes:
Rock climbing and abseiling
Canoeing and kayaking
Gorge scrambling
Coasteering
Caving and mine exploration
Mountain and hill walking
Mountain biking
Orienteering
Duke of Edinburgh Award expeditions
Ropes courses and zip wire
Team building tasks
Our courses are staffed by a team of highly experienced outdoor educators, most of whom are qualified teachers, and who hold a range of high level National Governing Body awards. The staff will look after you throughout the day, and ensure that you experience exciting and educational adventure activities in challenging environments.
