Kilvrough is a converted Georgian Manor House with its own history. Using the stunning natural environment of the Gower Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we deliver a wide range of courses and high quality residential outdoor learning experiences for young people and adults.
We can accommodate up to 60 students plus visiting staff. Bedrooms are located on single sex floors with rooms of varying sizes accommodating 4, 6 or 8 students with rooms for visiting staff located nearby. The Centre had major building work on the roof in 2008 which culminated in extensive refurbishment.
Our courses at Kilvrough are designed to support, challenge and develop all students. We make full use of our natural environments for physical activities
As well as delivering the highest quality residential outdoor learning experiences, we also offer a wide array of study based courses at primary and secondary levels.
Oxfordshire County Council has set up a new way of working for the three outdoor education centres at Kilvrough, Yenworthy and Woodlands, and from 1 October 2016 they are being managed by Groundwork South
