Kilve Court
A grand old house with modern extensions set in glorious countryside between the Quantock Hills and the sea. Most of our courses take place on site. We’ve got first-rate activity facilities including an archery garden, a high ropes course and a grass sledging hill, as well as wonderful woods and streams to explore. Our academic courses thrive in light and airy classrooms, as well as making use of the local area, rich in history, wildlife and beauty.
We also offer field trips to expand the students’ horizons.
The Outdoor Centre
If you love the outdoor life, but find tents a bit chilly, we’ve got a brilliant Outdoor Centre in the grounds of Kilve Court. You can run wild in two acres of streams and woodland. You can make camps, explore the fantasy trail, have a go on Kilve’s climbing wall, high ropes and mountain bikes and lots, lots more! Best of all, you can end the day around a real campfire. Whether you’re learning survival and bushcraft or using the Centre as a base for your own conference, trail running or youth groups, you’ll have an amazing time and get all the support you need. We have sixteen wooden cabins with a modern toilet and shower block, built around a light airy hall that can be used for meals, sports and talks.
