Our customers include schools, youth groups, clubs, organisations, families and friends. We also provide corporate team building and social celebration packages.
Activities are tailored for those experiencing the outdoors for the first time, to those wanting to build on skills and enjoy a higher level of adventure.
Onsite activities include canoeing on our tarn, ropes course, orienteering, problem solving and archery. Offsite we have the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks on our doorstep, and activities range from caving and ghyll scrambling, to canoe journeying and abseiling. Minibus transport provided.
The course programmes are bespoke, designed to meet group objectives, with leadership from highly experienced and qualified instructors working in partnership with visiting group leaders.
High Borrans staff have the teaching backgrounds to offer cross-curricular outdoor learning; fieldwork in geography and ecology, numeracy, literacy and creative activities. The residential setting combined with teamwork activities is a great way to develop confidence, self esteem and communication – all key life skills – as well as raising achievement.
