With over 40 years experience as an educational establishment, Grafham Water Centre has an excellent reputation for delivering quality, engaging, exciting residential experiences. Programmes are designed with schools and group leaders to suit their educational needs and requirements, outcomes are reviewed to help young peoples learning to develop.
The benefits of the Centre are wide ranging. Its picturesque location on the edge of Grafham Water – the UK’s finest inland sailing venue, make it an ideal location for young people to try a wide variety of water activities close to the shoreline as well as the many adventurous land activities on offer. The activities are led by qualified and experienced staff. Having recently gone through a £3.75m refurbishment and expansion programme completed in 2010, the Centre is modern and well equipped.
Activities on offer include:
Sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, indoor and outdoor climbing, high and low ropes courses, archery, raft building, bush craft, river studies, problem solving and orienteering
Grafham Water Centre is a licensed provider Outdoor and Adventurous Activities under the terms of the Adventurous Activities Licensing Act. (AALA) and holds a Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge. We provide Royal Yachting Association, British Canoe Union and Mountain Leader Training England courses
