We provide educational Positive Youth Development Programmes and Christian Retreats for Children and Young People 10-25 yrs.
Alton Castle site can boast a series of various buildings on site that we can book simultaneously, Alton Castle, sleeps up to 95, Soli Centre, up to 55 in main Centre and overflow .Stables up to 18.
Alton Castle and the Stables, is hostel style accommodation. Whereas our Soli Centre has recently been re-furbished to a high standard, all rooms with en-suite facilities. Accredited by Visit England
At Alton Castle children aged 10-13 are able to experience new activities, from mountain biking, archery and climbing to team games in a safe environment enabling them to grow in self-esteem, develop communication skills and know that they are treasured by God.
For these children one visit is an unforgettable experience. Alton Castle gives them space, a chance to shine and an opportunity for their teacher/leaders to develop their relationship with them for when they return home.
Our catering team takes great pride in providing freshly made, locally sourced, tasty and balanced meals, for Alton Castle and Soli Centre. Our Stables accommodation is self-catering only and is ideal for a smaller group of people/students/families.
We are a secure site, with 24 hour cover and an onsite safe guarding officer.
We can take key stage 2 and 3 children for Alton Castle and key stage 3,4 and 5 for Soli Centre, during weekends we can take groups of young people.
A led programme at Soli includes reflection, small groupwork, creative music and Liturgy and worship.

We are based in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands and picturesque Churnet Valley. Whether cycling through Dimmingsdale, walking the Croxden Abbey pilgrimage or simply taking in the stunning viewpoints – young people grow in appreciation of the beauty of the world.
The nearest train station is Uttoxetter with a regular bus route to Alton. (We are 1 mile from Alton Towers)
• We offer a unique package of short courses in personal and spiritual development to young people of all ages and abilities.
• We are beside Alton Towers, and very close to the Peak District.
• Our Christian Programmes are facilitated by committed and trained young peer education team mainly under 25 who have a great rapport with young people and who share life, faith and the activities with joy and enthusiasm.
• The environment of The Castle and grounds is breathtaking and the whole beauty of the surroundings is exceptional and inspiring.

Soli Centre has 54 beds.
Stables has 18 beds, self-catering only.

The rooms are varied in size, we can offer room allocation lists upon booking.
The student rooms are bunk beds. Staff rooms mostly have en-suites and in our
newly refurbished Soli Centre all the rooms are en-suite.

We are a charitable organisation. In 1995 the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Birmingham purchased Alton Castle with a view to developing a residential center for young people with particular emphasis on those from disadvantaged areas.
